After reading an article at Wired, I decided that I could use a better news aggregator than the LiveJournal friends page. I gave a couple of their suggestions, along with a few others I Googled, a whirl, but I must say that I am most impressed with BlogLines.
BlogLines is a web-based reader. At first I thought of this as a Bad Thing, as being web-based it would prolly be as slow (if not slower) than the LiveJournal equivlant. I must admit, I am quite impressed with its speed—it is one of the fastest sites I have used. After installing the Mozilla Toolkit I now have it fully integrated with my browser.
I would prefer if it were Open Source so that I could install it on my server and customize the display, but for what you get, I am more than willing to settle for their theme.
